We would stay again.

Great location.Our dinner in the restaurant was good.Nice front lobby area ,We sat and had tea there in the evenings.Room was clean the beds are very comfortable.Staff were friendly too.

Our Family Room was a bit dated and small compared to the rest of the hotel.We didn’t enjoy the hot food at breakfast, the bacon was pale & fatty nothing looked very appetising.

The telly in the room was awful and was looking forward to watching a program --keep looking to go onto app for phone .

Lovely hotel

The hotel is a short bus journey to Eyre Square. The lobby of the hotel itself is very impressive and we saw the lobby and corridors being hoovered more then once and the hotel has a nice atmosphere.

I was told I couldn't use my debit card to pay for our stay and that I could only pay with credit card or cash. I don't have a credit card so had to use all the cash I had to pay on check-in. Although we saw the cleaner hoover several times, the chairs in the lobby and bar were filthy. The room wasn't equipped for 4 people. There was only room to hang our coats but nothing else and no drawers. The portion sizes in the restaurant were quite small, given the cost! None of these were a huge issue though and we would stay again.

Great value for money, secure and accessible, geographical sound, great facilities with great staff

The hotel is very is very close to the town centre, walking distance 20-25 minutes. All the staff were very attentive and helpful, special thanks to Matthew on reception (good job) and Samantha the waitress who went beyond her remit to make our stay more comfortable she really is a happy soul. Big thanks to all the staff, waiters, cleaners, and bar/persons for their input. Indeed a very good hotel.

Not a lot really, the portions of food, are questionable my plate for example ( braised lamb shank, on a bed of mashed potatoes and veg, was no exactly sufficient and did not feel satisfied when I had finished the meal. The pool attendant insist that you have to wear a swimming hat (2.50 euro) before gaining entry, house rules!!.

Food, staff, facilities. Good hotel.

The hotel is really, really nice. People are helpful and friendly. I enjoyed it a lot! The bar was great and food. BUT!!! As I entered the room, I walked towards the window where I felt the carpet was soaking wet? I took no notice as I thought it was due to cleaning. Later on that night when I got into the bed.. It was soaking wet. It could not be felt over the duvet, it was when I physically laid in the bed, It was soaking. I obviously jumped up, to see it was a big circle stain in the bed that did have a bad smell. (Urine). We called reception, the room was changed..at 1am in the morning (As we had been out all day and night) Although, the explanation was "Maybe the rain got in".. This is impossible. The floor was wet, yes, but the bed.. Underneath a tightly tucked duvet was soaking wet with a bad smell. I really did enjoy the hotel stay but that was certainly a first.. It put a downer on the stay.. obviously. Was a shame as nothing else was ever said to us about the situation.

Would stay again but attention needs to be given to the rooms.

Hotel staff were lovely! Hotel is well presented. Breakfast was delicious and the entertainment at night was brilliant.

If you are checking in, make sure they Do Not put you in the B-wing. Go for the A-wing. The B-wing rooms are out dated and the cleanliness is not great. I genuinely can’t understand why hotels have their grounds and the lobby area well presented and clean but don’t seem to put the same effort into looking after their rooms?!

Ruined by our treatment upon arrival at reception

Breakfast v good . Bar very good. Bed v comfortable.

Reception staff disgraceful . We were treated with a half hearted approach and had a security deposit demanded from us before we were even allowed to check in.we were lined up like children in front of other guests and lectured about the rules and any 'possible bad behaviour'. All this before we were allowed to check in.we were not allowed to check out in till rooms were checked and beckoned to reception to retrieve cash deposit like we were bell boys. I am nearly 50 years of age and have stayed in hotels all over the world and this is the worst treatment I have ever received from reception staff and management.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere and facilities

The hotel very kindly upgraded us to a suite which was really nice of them. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The leisure facilities were good as well

To get to the leisure area you have to walk through the main reception area and along the front of the hotel as apposed to walking internally. It is a pity but not that much of an inconvenience. Also I would have assumed that bathrobes would have been supplied in the room, especially in a suite, again not a big deal but would have been nice. overall a nice hotel with very good staff

Bar open until late night, nice breakfast

Very poor toileteries - we never wash our body, hands and hair with the same cleanser, like it happened in this room. Booked a triple room and there were towels only for two, even after announcing it we didn't get a third one.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, great food and hotel was very clean, pool was beautiful. I had children with me and they enjoyed the selection that was for breakfast, which can be difficult with children.was fantastic, and the staff were amazing.

Pancakes for breakfast, easy to get downtown, nice location for exploring the surrounding area

Bright spacious room in a quiet wing; nice helpful staff; complimentary pool and sauna use; fresh pancakes and many other options at breakfast.
